Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant cooking experience
  • Food Handlers certification
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures ranging from -10F to +110F
  • Capability to stand and exert mobility for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to follow sanitation, health, and safety standards
  • Ability to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance according to company policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years cooking experience, preferably in high volume settings
  • Food Handlers certification
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic computational ability
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods such as grilling, baking, and boiling
  • Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-driven

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes using various kitchen utensils and equipment such as blenders, mixers, grinders, slicers, and tenderizers
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment including grills, deep-fat fryers, and griddles
  • Set up station with predetermined mise en place required to service all functions
  • Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, boilers, grills, roasters, and steam kettles
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • Verify that prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements
  • Assist with guest inquiries
  • Follow all company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
