Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • minimum of 1 year of experience in a full-service kitchen
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation rules
  • willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year of experience operating in a full-service kitchen
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation guidelines accurately
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • passion for culinary arts and delivering great hospitality
  • previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality food to On The Border specifications
  • adhere to OTB safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • communicate cook times and potential issues with managers and team members
  • complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • assist with inventory management as needed
  • support team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
