Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- experience in kitchen required including food preparation and kitchen routine
- bilingual English/Spanish or English/Navajo helpful
- have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire
- successful completion of health exam and TB test
- criminal background checks
- valid driver’s license if driving
- maintain current motor vehicle record and insurance if driving
- comply with PMS Policies on Automobile Usage and Drug Free Workplace
- may be required to complete transportation related trainings
- ability to work at various center locations
- willingness to deliver meals as needed
Job Qualifications
- experience in kitchen including food preparation and kitchen routine

- familiarity with USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program and Head Start regulations

Job Duties
- prepare meals according to USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program standards
- maintain compliance with Head Start and Early Head Start nutrition performance standards
- adhere to New Mexico Child Care licensing regulations
- manage kitchen operations and food preparation routines
- deliver meals to multiple Head Start centers as required
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- assist with inventory management and kitchen cleanliness
