Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 months experience as line cook
- minimum 3 months experience as pantry/prep cook
- 2 year culinary degree or 5 years cooking experience in restaurant/catering/banquet facility
- culinary training
- sanitation/safety training including ServSafe or comparable certification
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- visual acuity
- flexible schedule
- ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environments

Job Duties
- Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other assigned menu items
- create consistent finished products with high-quality presentation
- learn and follow menus and recipes accurately
- read and manage multiple contracts efficiently
- prepare prep lists for kitchen operations
- ensure food safety and maintain sanitization of work area, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration
- take responsibility for assigned employees when in a lead capacity
- communicate and delegate tasks effectively
- ensure proper execution and equipment training
- manage food costs, inventory control, and purchasing
- maintain a flexible schedule including location changes
- oversee front of the house presence including carving for up to 1000 guests
