Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum of 1 year cooking experience
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist and stand for job functions
  • Frequent use of hands in water and with chemical solutions
  • Frequent use of sharp knives, utensils and hot plates
  • Ability to work in hot environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
  • Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation related to soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Basic knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
  • Perform station functions including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and cooking eggs
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation complying with HACCP standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
  • Perform other duties as assigned
