Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum 1 year related cooking experience
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions
- Frequent exposure to water and chemicals
- Frequent use of knives and hot plates
- Ability to work in a hot environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year closely related cooking experience
- Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation for Soups, Sauté, Broiler, Fry, and Pantry
- Ability to follow recipes and taste food products
- Strong communication skills
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
- Perform station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- Practice excellent food safety and sanitation adhering to HACCP standards
- Operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
- Perform other duties as assigned
