Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills

- Comfortable working with sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates

- Minimum 3 years cooking experience
- High volume or fast casual dining background
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related cooking experience in high-volume or fast casual dining
- Knowledge of sauces, soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry cooking
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Perform station functions including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and cooking eggs
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to managers and servers
- Follow menus and estimate food requirements
- Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
- Practice food safety and sanitation in compliance with HACCP standards
- Operate kitchen equipment and measure and mix ingredients
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
- Perform other duties as assigned
