Job Description

We are a dynamic and vibrant food service team dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences at large-scale events and festivals. Located in Sacramento, CA, our team is excited to participate in the Aftershock Festival held at Discovery Park from October 2 to October 5, 2025. Job Requirements

  • Prior food service or cashier experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work on your feet for long shifts (10+ hours) in an outdoor festival setting
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and reliability are a must
  • Must be available for all festival dates (October 2–5, 12 PM – 10 PM each day)

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and fine dining experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent food handling skills with a focus on safety and hygiene practices
  • Restaurant or kitchen experience is essential for success in this role
  • Culinary experience with an emphasis on meal preparation techniques is required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Assist in menu planning to ensure a diverse and appealing selection of dishes
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen
  • Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences in both casual and fine dining settings
  • Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation
  • Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests
  • Ensure that the kitchen area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
