Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in food handling and preparation, sanitation, and safety standards for institutions and/or restaurants
- Culinary or cooking school experience or courses preferred
- Minimum of a high school degree
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment
- Ability to understand the English language and follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies and sanitary standards established by management
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Helping to prepare food for the next meal service including chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes
- Ensuring all procedures follow required health department and company regulations
- Checking all food temperatures prior to meal service
- Garnishing all plates before they leave the kitchen area
- Assisting the Director of Food Service or the Sous Chef in meal preparation tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Supporting the team to deliver timely and high-quality meal services
