Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- Willingness to work hours that vary with event schedule
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years cooking and food prep experience in food service industry
- Experience in premium services, catering, or concessions preferred
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and management
- Strong commitment to customer service and culinary skills
- Ability to interact with all management levels
- Flexible to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High attention to detail and organization
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Execute station requirements timely to specifications of Executive Culinary Team
- Follow recipes and cook to desired specifications
- Apply intermediate knife skills including classic vegetable cuts
- Work buffet action station
- Produce cold food items including guacamole, cold salads, dressings, vinaigrettes, sandwiches, cut fruit, fruit salad, vegetable prep, dips and spreads
- Produce hot food items including sauces, reheating, smoking, roasting, grilling, braising
- Work a la carte restaurant service station
- Follow production sheets with little supervision
- Maintain compliance with County Health/Sanitation and Legends Global standards
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Provide positive guest relations
- Ensure high-quality product service
- Maintain and clean equipment
- Rotate to other service locations as needed
- Perform other duties assigned by management
