Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to obtain California Food Handlers Certification
- Willingness to work varying hours according to event schedule
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Available to work on-site at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of cooking and food preparation experience preferably in premium services, catering, or concessions within sports and entertainment venues or high-volume restaurants or hotels
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Strong commitment to high-level customer service and culinary skills
- Customer service oriented with ability to interact at all management levels
- Flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
- Execute station requirements timely according to Executive Culinary Team specifications
- Follow recipes and cook to desired specifications
- Demonstrate intermediate knife skills including classic vegetable cuts
- Work buffet action station efficiently
- Prepare cold food items including guacamole, salads, dressings, and fruit dishes
- Prepare hot food items including sauces, reheating, smoking, roasting, grilling, and braising proteins
- Work efficiently in a high-paced a la carte restaurant service station
- Accomplish production sheets with minimal supervision
- Comply with County Health and Sanitation regulations and Legends Global standards
- Maintain positive guest relations
- Ensure high-quality products are served
- Provide efficient service under culinary management direction
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational condition
- Flexibly rotate to other kitchen and property service locations as needed
- Perform other related duties and tasks assigned by management
