Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must obtain a New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
  • Food safety driven with food service experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit or ability to obtain

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications
  • Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in all work areas, including completing daily temperature logs
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, griddles, and slicers
  • Cook food to the exact specifications by reading order slips or receiving verbal instructions
  • Verify prepared food meets quality and quantity requirements
  • Clean, stock and restock workstations and display cases
  • Order and take delivery of products as needed
