Job Requirements

  • A High School Diploma
  • experience in culinary arts or food service
  • knowledge of volume food preparation
  • knowledge and ability to operate food service equipment
  • willingness to work full-time day shifts including every other weekend and rotating holidays
  • ability to maintain high sanitation and safety standards
  • ability to read and follow recipes
  • comfortable with short-order scratch cooking

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals for residents, associates, and visitors
  • assist in the coordination of effective communication among dining team and resident assistants
  • work closely with the Connections Director and the Director of Sales and Marketing in the planning and implementation of special events
  • maintain necessary records and complete administrative paperwork as required
  • follow established safety regulations including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety
  • ensure cleaning as they work maintaining highest sanitation standards
  • read and follow recipes accurately
