Job Requirements
- Six months of general work experience
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of the care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils
- Knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service and necessary precautionary measures
- Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills to exchange information
- Availability to work varied hours
- Security sensitive position
- Submission of at least two professional references

Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and serve food items for daily meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Operate and maintain food service equipment properly
- Assist in training hourly staff on washing, sanitizing, and handling techniques
- Ensure consistent supply of cleaned and sanitized dishes adhering to safety protocols
- Contribute to a positive dining experience for the campus community
