Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school education required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred

  • Preferred culinary knowledge and passion for Japanese-inspired cuisine
  • Ability to stay organized, focused, and efficient during high-volume periods
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the team
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain a positive attitude, and support a cooperative work environment
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation
  • Basic ability to handle electronic equipment and follow company procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Keep Kitchen Board forms updated and maintain proper organization at your station
  • Uphold top-tier sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times
  • Minimize waste and follow proper portion control for all menu items
  • Maintain a safe, positive work environment for yourself and your team
  • Participate in daily briefings and follow all production schedules and procedures
  • Coordinate with management to exceed expectations in food quality and presentation
  • Follow cleaning schedules for equipment and kitchen areas
  • Support safe work habits and comply with all safety guidelines
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management
