Job Requirements
- Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or working a prep cook line station
- Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
- Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
- Comply with COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of PPE as per regulatory guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a line cook in a scratch kitchen or restaurant
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of seasonal and local ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional food experiences
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and kitchen technology
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals from scratch using fresh and local ingredients
- Ensure timely execution of dishes while maintaining high-quality standards
- Interact positively with residents and guests to enhance their dining experience
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow established recipes and seasonal menu guidelines
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills
