Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be fully conversational in English
  • 2 or more years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant
  • Must successfully obtain SERVSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Experience on multiple kitchen stations preferred
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Supporting other cooks and working in a team environment
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be fully conversational in English
  • 2 or more years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant demonstrating moderate-level cooking skills such as quick serve, grilling, and frying
  • Must obtain SERVSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Experience on multiple kitchen stations preferred
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions

Job Duties

  • Work on the line in OTG's multi-unit concepts
  • Prepare food following recipe guidelines ensuring portion sizing and plating consistency
  • Ensure all food items for an order are ready simultaneously
  • Control food quality according to OTG specifications and restaurant directions
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and work towards guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned
