Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • read, write and speak English fluently
  • ServeSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification
  • demonstrated knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Keeps all items for assigned station prepped, rotated and stocked
  • cooks and presents quality products following standardized recipes
  • ensures staff, guest, food, equipment and facility safety
  • handles customer interactions graciously
  • stocks all equipment and disposable goods used on stations
  • keeps Chefs and/or Supervisor informed of supply needs
  • keeps station clean and sanitary while working and cleans thoroughly before leaving
  • cleans ovens, deep fryer, char broiler, griddle, hood filters, woks and food surface contact surfaces
  • maintains and operates wood-fired pizza oven
  • prepares menu items to proper standards including pasta and baked goods
  • cooks soups and daily volume menu to standards
  • assists Chefs and/or Cook A with production and service at catered events
