Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more
  • Capable of working in variable temperature environments
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cook experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow directions
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Follow the supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products by following recipe guidelines and sanitation procedures
  • Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to proper protocols, keeping workstations clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Work cooperatively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow supervisor's instructions for opening and closing kitchen procedures
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to supervisors
  • Adapt to fast-paced work environments while maintaining quality and efficiency
