Job Requirements

  • prior food preparation or service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food quality
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
  • stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers and managers
  • performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • ensures proper food presentation, portion control and serving temperatures
  • commits to personal and workplace safety
  • abides by all company policies and procedures regarding safety equipment and protocols
