Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Certified Food Manager Certification required or scheduled for training
  • At least 18 years old
  • One year relevant experience or education in food production
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
  • Basic computer skills desired
  • Available for occasional night and weekend work
  • Possess reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
  • Able to perform physical duties including lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in close quarters and in moderate to loud noise environment

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Certified Food Manager Certification
  • At least 18 years old
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale food production
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise production and preparation of meals in compliance with USDA and state guidelines
  • Maintain food service sanitation standards
  • Prepare menus using standardized recipes
  • Order food supplies and maintain inventory
  • Ensure food temperatures meet USDA standards
  • Complete required USDA and CACFP documentation and reports
  • Promote parent engagement activities
