Job Requirements
- able to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations
- able to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Serv Safe certifications as required by the Lake County Health Department regulations
- able to lift up to 25-30 lbs
- able to stand for long periods
- able to navigate crowded spaces
- flexible in bending and reaching
- adaptable to casino conditions including bright lights and noise
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous cooking experience preferred
- experience utilizing wok or traditional Asian cuisine equipment preferred
- knowledge of health and sanitation standards
- proficiency in proper cooking techniques and knife skills
- strong food knowledge
- bilingual abilities are a plus
- passion for hospitality
Job Duties
- execute daily prep and service with precision and consistency
- prepare a variety of Asian dishes including stir-fries and noodle-based dishes
- utilize wok cooking, steaming, and braising techniques
- maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas
- participate in line checks
- follow health and safety regulations
- assist in educating front-of-house staff on daily specials
