Job Requirements

  • Able to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications as required by local gaming regulations
  • Able to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Serv Safe certifications as required by the Lake County Health Department regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to navigate crowded spaces
  • Flexibility in bending and reaching
  • Adaptability to casino conditions including bright lights and noise

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of previous cooking experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing a wok or traditional Asian cuisine equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation standards
  • Proper cooking techniques and knife skills
  • Food knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a kitchen environment
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality cuisine

Job Duties

  • Execute daily prep and service with precision and consistency
  • Prepare a variety of Asian dishes including stir-fries and noodle-based dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas
  • Participate in line checks and support daily sanitation efforts
  • Follow health and safety regulations and proper ingredient handling
  • Assist in educating front-of-house staff on daily specials
  • Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in achieving kitchen standards
