Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • relevant food handling or culinary experience
  • ability to stand and walk frequently
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes humid or hot/cold environment
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • must obtain food handling and alcohol service certifications within required timeframes
  • must complete company-specific training and tests
  • must be able to multitask and prioritize duties effectively

Job Duties

  • Prepare and store ingredients for menu items, safely store all food and prep items in correct locations, accurately prepare and present menu items, read tickets to incorporate modifications and substitutions, handle kitchen equipment safely and properly, check orders for allergen modifications, communicate allergen and order changes, follow cleanliness and food safety standards, setup and breakdown kitchen stations efficiently, follow recipes and portion controls, complete side work and closing duties, warn others of hazards, report customer and employee incidents to management, obtain required certifications, complete required tests, safeguard company assets, use allergy alert functions in POS, take carry-out orders and process payments, greet carry-out guests, participate in pre-shift and staff meetings, manage break permissions and payroll accuracy
