Job Duties

- committing and complying with company mission, guiding principles, policies, and procedures
- encouraging and facilitating productive working relationships
- preparing and storing ingredients properly
- safely and properly storing all food and prep items
- accurately and efficiently preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items
- reading tickets to ensure modifications are factored
- safely operating kitchen equipment
- checking orders for allergen removal and communicating modifications
- following standards for food allergies including sanitizing utensils and surfaces
- ensuring guest satisfaction
- maintaining food quality and safe food handling
- setting up and breaking down kitchen stations efficiently
- following company recipes and portion guidelines
- completing side work and closing duties
- warning of hazards proactively
- maintaining cleanliness standards
- staying updated on menu and specials
- reporting customer and employee concerns promptly
- obtaining required food handling and alcohol service certifications
- completing required tests including menu and alcohol products
- safeguarding company assets including cash and inventory
- using allergy alert functions in POS system
- answering phones and taking carry-out orders efficiently
- greeting and processing payment for carry-out guests
- participating in pre-shift and staff meetings
- following break protocols if applicable
- creating accurate payroll records via POS system
- monitoring payroll hours to avoid overtime
