Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs to waist height
  • compliance with all health and safety regulations including personal hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen preferred
  • ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions including recipes and safety protocols
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • prepare soups sauces salads entrees and catering items as assigned by the Chef Manager
  • set up food stations prior to service with proper equipment and supplies
  • maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area following health regulations
  • provide courteous customer service at all times
  • receive and properly handle food deliveries including checking dates and storage
  • adhere to recipes and cooking instructions accurately
  • perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
