Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen preferred
- ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions including recipes and safety protocols
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- prepare soups sauces salads entrees and catering items as assigned by the Chef Manager
- set up food stations prior to service with proper equipment and supplies
- maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area following health regulations
- provide courteous customer service at all times
- receive and properly handle food deliveries including checking dates and storage
- adhere to recipes and cooking instructions accurately
- perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
