Job Requirements
- Ability to work full-time including some weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to move objects up to 35 pounds to waist height
- Adherence to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation protocols
- Willingness to follow company and client protocols
- Must be able to clean and sanitize kitchen areas
- Ability to respond to supervisor directions and adaptability to perform other tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare, cook and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering
- Observe and follow all verbal and written instructions related to menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
- Set up work stations prior to service with necessary equipment and food
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with health, safety and food handling regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain effective communication
- Follow all health and safety regulations including equipment use and personal hygiene
