Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in quantity cooking and food preparation
  • One year of experience equivalent to Cook E6
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening including drug screen, criminal history background, and fingerprint check
  • Ability to submit a cover letter, resume, and official transcripts if applicable
  • Commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in quantity cooking and food preparation
  • One year of experience equivalent to Cook E6
  • Knowledge of health department cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to lead and supervise kitchen helpers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the work of less-skilled kitchen helpers during assigned shifts
  • Prepare meal items including preparation, service, and cleanup
  • Maintain health department standards for cleanliness and safety
  • Receive and properly store kitchen stock
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
