Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in quantity cooking and food preparation
- One year of experience equivalent to Cook E6
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening including drug screen, criminal history background, and fingerprint check
- Ability to submit a cover letter, resume, and official transcripts if applicable
- Commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in quantity cooking and food preparation
- One year of experience equivalent to Cook E6
- Knowledge of health department cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to lead and supervise kitchen helpers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee the work of less-skilled kitchen helpers during assigned shifts
- Prepare meal items including preparation, service, and cleanup
- Maintain health department standards for cleanliness and safety
- Receive and properly store kitchen stock
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
