Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or culinary environment preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
  • Strong team-oriented attitude and communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food preparation in a scratch kitchen
  • Must be able to follow recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
  • Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Ensuring ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly
  • Following recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  • Following prep lists
  • Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • Preparing ingredients for cooking by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
  • Operating equipment following safety standards
