Job Requirements
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- One year of experience in quantity cooking and food preparation preferred
- Ability to meet state, federal and VA sanitary standards
- Available for part-time work less than 40 hours per week
- Ability to maintain kitchen hygiene and safety
- Capacity to handle cooking equipment safely
- Willingness to adhere to dietary and safety guidelines

Job Duties
- Perform a full range of cooking and food preparation assignments
- Maintain quality and sanitary standards as prescribed by state, federal and VA requirements
- Prepare meals for members, visitors, staff and volunteers
- Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations in food service
- Manage kitchen equipment and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen and care staff to meet dietary requirements
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas
