Job Requirements
- completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- no experience required for entry level
- one year quantity cooking experience for experienced level
- two years quantity cooking experience including one year at experienced level for advanced
- must pass background checks in line with state regulations
- ability to complete required training
- willingness to adhere to ethical standards
- provide professional references
- submit official transcripts if applicable

Job Duties
- perform and oversee cooking and food preparation tasks
- follow on-the-job training and close supervision at the intermediate level
- use independent judgment for cooking assignments at experienced level
- function as lead worker overseeing cooks, kitchen helpers, and prisoner workers at advanced level
- ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards
- coordinate kitchen workflow and staff responsibilities
- train and mentor lower-level kitchen staff
