Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum one year experience as a cook
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 60 lbs, stand and move intermittently throughout the work day
- Willingness and temperamental capacity to respect and enjoy working with people
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures

- Knowledge of sanitation guidelines and safety procedures
- Ability to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of food service areas
- Strong ability to prepare nutritious and economically viable meals
Job Duties
- Prepare three meals daily ensuring that established standards of nutrition, sanitation, and quality are maintained
- Attend and participate in continuing in-service trainings
- Maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment
- Maintain the appearance of work areas and inspect food service areas for sanitation, order, and safety
- Assist the Food Service Director in developing, implementing, and coordinating department policies and procedures
- Perform all other duties as assigned
