Job Requirements
- Two years of previous line cook experience
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
- Ability to work at a single kitchen station
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
- Refined verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Preparing meal ingredients including seasoning meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits
- Preparing salads and sauces as directed by the Chef de Partie
- Receiving deliveries and verifying ordered items for quality
- Motivating and training apprentices and coworkers
- Working within budgeted guidelines
- Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying supervisor of low or depleted supplies
- Discarding expired and spoiled food items
- Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring workstations are sanitized
- Plating and presenting meal items per Chef de Partie’s instructions
- Completing various additional tasks and assignments as needed
