The Cedar Rapids facility is a key part of Kraft Heinz's extensive network, specializing in the production of frozen soups and macaroni and cheese under some of the nation's most trusted household brands. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
  • Ability to work third shift hours from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Must be dependable with a strict attendance record
  • Ability to operate multiple production positions
  • Must follow all quality and safety standards
  • Must be able to complete required paperwork accurately

Job Duties

  • Adhere to a strict attendance policy
  • Check viscosity of soup
  • Wash and sanitize kettles after every formula
  • Follow daily production schedule by referring to recipes and coordinating prep department
  • Complete paperwork including IQS entries and inspections
  • Load ingredients into kettle
  • Take product samples to quality assurance
  • Retrieve and return containers from prep and blanch areas
  • Verify product quality, item numbers, weights, and perform HAACP checks
  • Follow all required safe work practices including the use of PPE and JSA
  • Perform other duties as assigned
