Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Minimum of three years' cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
- Current Food Handlers card
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong communication skills to speak effectively to groups
- Ability to think independently, solve problems, and make sound decisions
- Demonstrated initiative and responsibility
- Self-motivated and proactive team player
- Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Work and master all kitchen stations
- Ensure superior standards of service meet the requirements of guests and employees
- Proactive in exceeding guest satisfaction including investigating and resolving guest or employee challenges
- Follow cleaning schedule and checklist daily to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding vegetables and fruits
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes to prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles
- Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods while adjusting oven and equipment temperatures
- Observe and test foods by tasting, smelling, and visual inspection
- Carve meats, portion food on serving plates, add gravies and sauces, and garnish servings to fulfill orders
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
