Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation or a related role
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • strong attention to cleanliness and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation
  • ability to prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • capability to follow recipes and yield guides accurately
  • prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen team
  • attention to detail in food presentation and portion control
  • general knowledge of cooking temperatures, soup and sauce preparation, and a la carte cooking

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service to the hotel guests
  • work in the designated station as set by executive chef andor sous chef
  • organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders
  • prepare and sell food within recommended time frames to meet guest expectations
  • operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area
