Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of line cook experience
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • Must hold California Food Handlers Certification
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk long hours
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • Able to work multiple kitchen stations
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision
  • Physical stamina to walk long distances and stand for long periods
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • California Food Handlers Certification required

Job Duties

  • Perform basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling
  • Multi-task by cooking for various outlets such as Banquets, The Market, Regency Club
  • Work multiple stations in the kitchen efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines including California Food Handlers Certification standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen team and supervisors under moderate supervision
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation and presentation of food
