Job Requirements
- high School diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum of three years' cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
- current Food Handlers card
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- ability to speak effectively before groups
- ability to think, work, solve problems, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment
- demonstrate initiative and accept responsibility
- must be self-motivated, proactive, and a team player
- must be able to pay attention to details and work in a fast-paced environment
- flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- work and master all kitchen stations
- ensure superior standards of service meet the requirements of guests and employees
- proactively exceed guest satisfaction and resolve challenges
- follow daily cleaning schedules to maintain sanitation
- prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding vegetables and fruits
- measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, and vegetables adjusting cooking temperatures as needed
- observe and test foods by tasting and visual inspection
- carve meats and portion food on plates
- perform other assigned duties
