Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- minimum of three years cooking experience in commercial kitchen
- current Food Handlers card
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
- effective verbal communication skills
- ability to solve practical problems and make independent decisions
- initiative and responsibility for actions
- self-motivated and proactive team player
- attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Work and master all kitchen stations
- ensure superior standards of service meet the requirements of guests and employees
- proactively exceed guest satisfaction by investigating, responding to, and resolving challenges
- follow cleaning schedule and checklist daily to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding vegetables and fruits
- measure and mix ingredients according to recipes for soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles
- bake, roast, broil, and steam various foods while adjusting oven temperatures
- observe and test foods by tasting, smelling, and visual inspection
- carve meats, portion food on plates, add gravies and sauces, and garnish servings
- perform other duties as assigned.
