Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must be willing to work hours that vary according to event schedule
- must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- must have ServSafe or food handler certification
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of entry-level cooking and food prep experience in the food service industry
- preferably experience in premium services, catering, concessions environments for sports and entertainment venues, or high-volume restaurants or hotels
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- strong commitment to delivering high levels of customer and client service with initiative
- customer service oriented with ability to interact with all levels of management
- flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in a team environment
- high level of attention to detail and organization
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- timely execution of station requirements to specification of Executive Culinary Team
- follow recipes and cook them to desired specifications
- utilize basic knife skills and production techniques
- prepare cold food production including guacamole, cold salads, dressings, sandwiches, and dips
- work at buffet action stations
- maintain and abide by County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards
- multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- maintain positive guest relations
- ensure only the highest quality product is served to guests
- provide efficient service and quality products by following direction of culinary management
- clean and maintain kitchen equipment regularly
- rotate to other service locations within the kitchen and property when necessary
- perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management
