Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One to two years experience in a similar position
  • Strong organizational skills
  • ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
  • Level 4 Gaming License
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
  • Physical ability to frequently stand and walk, occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or bend
  • Ability to lift frequently up to 25 lb and occasionally up to 50 lb
  • Ability to work in warm or cold temperatures and around mechanical moving parts
  • Tolerance for moderate noise levels and smoky casino environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes
  • Maintains all refrigeration and dry storage areas to ensure proper handling and rotation of products
  • Ensures that stations are clean and that all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of shift
  • Follows all recipes, specs, and control procedures
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with health regulations
  • Assists with guest requests
  • Runs a station or multiple stations
