Job Requirements
- Oregon food handlers card or equivalent
- Food Protection Manager Certification within 6 months of hire
- three years of cooking experience in an institutional or commercial setting serving complete meals or an associate degree in food service management, foods and hospitality service, or related field
- good understanding of math, customer service, cleanliness, and food handling skills
- availability to work at least four days per pay period
- ability to work in a loud, hot, and greasy environment
- ability to follow food safety procedures

Job Qualifications
- An Oregon food handlers card or equivalent

- high school diploma or GED preferred
- five years of cooking experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare food according to standardized recipes and production schedules
- cook various food items using appropriate commercial equipment and methods
- maintain mise en place by organizing ingredients and supplies
- monitor and record food temperatures at serving times
- ensure food safety by following HACCP standards and sanitation procedures
- check and verify delivered food products for quality and quantity
- provide training and oversight to other food service personnel
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas
- adjust recipes for quantity and quality as necessary
- support food preparation for patients, retail outlets, and catering
- manage food storage with correct labeling and dating
- perform other duties as assigned
