Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more
  • Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Exposed to variable temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • No experience or diploma required

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
  • Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
  • Clean and sanitize your areas often including and not limited to sweeping, mopping and scrubbing of kitchen walks, floors, and equipment
  • Remove your kitchens trash and dispose into dumpster
  • Assist other areas of the kitchen not limited to dishwashing and porter duties on occasion
  • Will be required on occasion to cook in front of guests
  • Assist in cooking duties in other kitchen spaces as required by management
