Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy items
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and cooking procedures
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • At least 2 years of previous line cooking experience is preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle moderate to heavy lifting
  • Teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to chefs recipes and specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor ingredient quality and inventory
  • Assist in plating and presentation of dishes
  • Follow all established cooking procedures and guidelines
