Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning products safely

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of prior kitchen experience, preferable in a fine dining or upscale restaurant
  • Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and station setup
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a high-paced environment
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and commitment to cleanliness
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to grow as part of a skilled culinary team

Job Duties

  • Execute prep and service on an assigned station with consistency and attention to detail
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during service by maintaining communication and pace
  • Uphold standards in food quality, presentation, timing, and sanitation
  • Assist with daily prep, inventory tasks, and receiving orders as assigned
  • Help mentor junior cooks and contribute to a collaborative, professional kitchen culture
  • Follow recipes, plating guides, and kitchen procedures to support overall consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your stations and shared workspaces
