Job Requirements

  • Able to read, write and speak basic English
  • Able to understand and apply basic mathematical skills
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
  • Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50-70 pounds repetitively
  • Good attitude and work ethic
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Can work in high stress and fast paced environment
  • Functions safely and efficiently under extreme kitchen heat conditions

  • Possess full knowledge of proper cooking techniques and safe food handling

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with production requirements and standard recipes
  • Maintain clean, sanitary and safe station at all times
  • Set up assigned station including preparation, freezer pull and line set up
  • Communicate any out-of-stock items or possible shortages
  • Date and rotate all food containers ensuring proper temperature
  • Inspect and evaluate equipment for cleanliness and report repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on line equipment
  • Return unused food items to designated storage areas with proper covering and dating
  • Consistently produce products according to recipe specifications and ticket time standards
  • Complete station closing checklist for shift transition
  • Follow food and cleanliness standards to ensure quality products
