Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- minimum of two years cooking experience in commercial kitchen
- current food handlers card
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to speak effectively before customers or team members
- ability to think, work, and solve practical problems independently using sound judgment
- must demonstrate initiative and accept responsibility for decisions and actions
- must be self-motivated, proactive, and a team player
- attention to multiple details with comfort in fast-paced environment
- flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Work and master one kitchen station
- accept responsibility for personal decisions and actions
- ensure superior standards of service meet the requirements of guests and employees
- proactively exceed guest satisfaction and resolve challenges
- follow cleaning schedule and checklist daily
- prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding vegetables and fruits
- measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- bake, roast, broil, and steam various foods
- test and observe foods by tasting, smelling, and visual appearance
- carve meats and plate dishes with appropriate garnishes
- perform other duties as assigned
