- one year experience working in a food service environment

Job Duties
- follow recipes and check portions and garnishes to ensure ordered dishes are correctly presented
- have the correct and adequate setup in the kitchen and workstation each shift including ordering and storing fresh, dry, frozen goods, condiments and supplies
- handle, store and rotate stored products properly
- set up, maintain, clean and ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines
- supply stocks, cut and store perishable goods daily to maintain product quality
- complete control sheets for opening, in progress and closing if requested
- clean and tidy work and storage areas including refrigerators, freezers and bins
- practice general and specific cleaning using appropriate products to meet hygiene standards
- take instructions from the manager at shift start and complete stock check with manager before leaving
