  • ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods

Job Duties

  • follow recipes and check portions and garnishes to ensure ordered dishes are correctly presented
  • have the correct and adequate setup in the kitchen and workstation each shift including ordering and storing fresh, dry, frozen goods, condiments and supplies
  • handle, store and rotate stored products properly
  • set up, maintain, clean and ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines
  • supply stocks, cut and store perishable goods daily to maintain product quality
  • complete control sheets for opening, in progress and closing if requested
  • clean and tidy work and storage areas including refrigerators, freezers and bins
  • practice general and specific cleaning using appropriate products to meet hygiene standards
  • take instructions from the manager at shift start and complete stock check with manager before leaving
