Job Requirements
- One year experience working in food service environment
- High school diploma preferred
- Verbal and written communication is essential
- Basic mathematical skills
- Food handlers permit as required by law

Job Duties
- Follow the recipes and check the portion of the recipes, garnishes and present the dishes ordered
- Have the correct and adequate kitchen and work station setup at each shift including making orders, storing all fresh, dry, frozen goods, condiments and supplies
- Handle, store and rotate the stored products properly
- Set up, maintain regularly, clean and ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines
- Manage the supply of stocks, cutting, and storage of perishable goods daily to maintain product quality
- Complete control sheets for opening, in progress and closing if requested
- Put all used utensils in their place, clean and tidy the work place and storage areas including refrigerators and freezers, empty, clean and store bins
- Practice general and specific cleaning using appropriate products to meet hygiene standards
- Take instructions from the manager when starting and review stock with the manager before leaving to ensure everything is in order
