Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent training
  • At least 3 years of relevant cooking experience
  • Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards preferred
  • Ability to obtain Food Safety Manager certification within 30 days
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
  • Capability to work in fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environments
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
  • Effective communication and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related training in hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience
  • Experience within luxury brand or markets preferred
  • Food Safety Manager certification preferred or must be attained within 30 days
  • Proficient in multiple cooking techniques and kitchen equipment use

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with internal and external guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • Operate telephone system and answer calls promptly with proper etiquette
  • Maintain guests' privacy and confidentiality of information
  • Complete temperature books for hot and cold food and monitor equipment
  • Prepare and present food items according to standards and special requests
  • Rotate food in storage to minimize waste and maintain cleanliness of prep areas
  • Assist dining room waiters with food and beverage service and maintain menu knowledge
